Kindness Unleashed: ILLING Packaging Gives Back and Celebrates with Furry Friends

When it came to helping the Washington County Humane Society (WCHS), our ILLING Packaging team didn't hesitate. They jumped in paws-first! This was our second year partnering with WCHS, and we were delighted to give back to such an incredible cause.

Nine enthusiastic employees volunteered 18 hours at the shelter's mega rummage sale, helping sort and organize donated goods. We also held a donation drive, collecting everything from treats and toys to cleaning and office supplies for the cats, dogs, and other animals waiting for their forever homes. Together, we donated more than 100 items to help these special friends.

To thank our team for their generosity, we asked WCHS to bring a few four-legged ambassadors to our facility for a special visit. They graciously agreed, and soon Blake, Noodle, Cole, and Jaxon were wagging their way into our hearts, soaking up attention and begging for belly rubs. The joy was mutual, and our employees couldn't get enough of the snuggles, playtime, and puppy love.

It was a heartwarming reminder of why we give back, and we hope these lovable guests find their forever homes soon! We're proud of our team for stepping up with open hands and even bigger hearts.

The mission of the Washington County Humane Society is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty, to provide care for animals afflicted by neglect and abandonment, and to enhance the lives of animals and people through education, adoption, and compassion.
